Database Assistant

Position Summary:

To assist with administrative needs of the office and database department.

Role and Responsibilities:

This person’s job responsibility includes, but are not limited to, the following:

  • Create tribute cards, mailing envelopes, and certificates
  • E-file gift batches
  • Assist donors with tributes or donations
  • Open mail and sort incoming donations
  • Work with constituent records in database
  • Other duties as requested by supervisor

Physical requirements:

This job operates in a professional office environment and also at various venues. This role routinely uses standard office equipment such as computers, phones, photocopiers, filing cabinets and fax machines. The employee frequently is required to stand, walk, use hands and arms to work and carry. This position requires the ability to occasionally lift office products and supplies, up to 20 pounds.

Qualifications and Education Requirements:

  • High School diploma
  • Working knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite
  • Good verbal and written communication skills
  • Good organizational skills and attention to detail
  • Strong typing skills
