Senior Caregiver

JAFCO is committed to ensuring grandparents have the resources and assistance they need to create a loving, stable home for their grandchildren.

Many grandparents unexpectedly find themselves stepping into the role of primary caregiver for their grandchildren. JAFCO’s Senior Caregiver Program is here to help by offering free, voluntary in-home, and community-based case management services to guardians 55 and older with legal custody of their grandchildren. Funded by the Area Agency on Aging of Broward and The Department of Elder Affairs, JAFCO is committed to supporting senior caregivers through in-home support, bi-monthly support groups, access to valuable resources, and empowering families across Broward County.
