Children’s Village Rededication Campaign
As a Capital Donor, your name will forever be a permanent part of JAFCO where every child in our community has a place to belong.
The Weicholz Family Campus of the David Posnack Jewish Children’s Village is home to our Emergency Shelter and six Group Homes and has provided love and safety to 1,500 children for almost 20 years. To keep the Village looking as new as it did on the day it opened in 2002 we are planning a re-dedication campaign to update and refresh the Village and provide the best possible childhood experience for our children who are healing from the trauma of abuse, neglect and abandonment. You can imagine the loving wear and tear the Village has had these past years. In addition to the aging that occurs naturally over time, JAFCO provided love and safety to 5-6 children living in each Group Home full time and up to 16 children at a time in the Shelter — for over two decades!
