Children’s Ability Center Campaign

We imagine a world where all children are safe and surrounded by a loving community.

JAFCO can assure our children and our families that they are not alone, they are with family, an extended family, a community that is there for them regardless of what lies ahead. This is the vision that has sustained JAFCO for the past quarter of a century, and it our deepest core value that makes us unique, strong and successful.

The JAFCO Children’s Ability Center
is a beautiful state-of-the-art center which provides child enrichment, community engagement and family strengthening services to over 1500 families each year raising a child with a developmental disability. The center is open seven days a week to provide support not only to the children, but to the entire family, starting on the day of diagnosis up to age 22.

The Shirley & Barton Weisman and Family Event Center
is located within the JAFCO Children’s Ability Center. Illuminate is the Event Center’s exquisitely designed ballroom and is the perfect setting for weddings, dinners, Bar Mitzvahs, meetings or conferences. Events held at Illuminate could actually help change the world by supporting children with developmental disabilities and their families in our community. Illuminate… a venue with a cause.
