Eagles’ Haven: The Power of Community. Advocates for Healing.

Last month, we were honored to welcome Florida State Representative Christine Hunschofsky and her team to Eagles’ Haven Wellness Center for a meaningful visit.

As someone who knows our work well, Representative Hunschofsky joined our staff in a quiet, powerful moment where we remembered the 17 victims, 17 injured survivors, and every community member impacted by the tragedy at Marjory Stoneman Douglas High School. Together, we recited each name, lit candles in their honor and memory, and we reflected on how essential Eagles’ Haven remains for healing and connection in the Parkland and Coral Springs community and beyond.

A heartfelt thank you to Representative Hunschofsky and to Florida State Senator Tina Polsky for their continued and unwavering support of Eagles’ Haven. Their dedication has helped secure vital funding that allows us to keep our doors open and our programs thriving for individuals in our community who need us most.
